Welcome to Jai Durga Samajik Kalyan Sansthan
Jai Durga Samajik Kalyan Sansthan” (JDSKS), a ten year old Non Government Organization (registered under the Societies Registration Act on 7th March 2003), is headquartered at Uttarakhand.
JDSKS derives its name and inspiration from two renowned freedom fighters and philanthropists of Uttarakhand Jai Ballabh and Durga devi who were responsible for setting up hospitals, colleges and dharamshalas all over Uttarakhand.
We are at present working with the Jai Prakash Narayan Apex Trauma Centre (JPNATC) of AIIMS at New Delhi. We work with their blood bank in the field of voluntary blood donation and blood donation counseling as well as helping the trauma patients with Medicare, assistive devices and financial support. We are also working with the women attendants of the patients at the Safdarjung Dharamshala, Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi
We are also working with rural women in Uttarakhand in the field skill upgradation, training and strengthening of rural livelihoods. The Sansthan is committed to develop and implement initiatives to empower the rural population with special focus on the rural poor, the deprived and the weaker sections of the society. The Sansthan has special focus on gender issues with a view to empower women and continue its work in the field of elementary & continuing education, maternal and child health, environmental protection, chemical free, organic cultivation, medicinal plant cultivation, water and sanitation.
